The delicious Whitianga Scallop Festival is fast approaching!
Get your tickets to indulge and enjoy some of the flavourful creations and enjoy the music and festivities of the festival.
- 25th August: Fill up on food and drinks with the Scallop Festival Beer Dinner
- 26th August: Enjoy food and comedy at Salt Restaurant and Blacksmith Bar
- 27th August: Get in on the action at the Mercury Bay Scallop Festival, the Blacksmith Lane Street Party and music playing to enjoy
- 28th August: The main day of events is filled with a variety of entertainment options
- 29th August: Take part in the recovery party to get your last delicious scallop fix
There are many fun activities and entertainment taking place over the week and fun competitions for the best Scallop Recipe, Ode to the Scallop and kids colouring competition. Make sure you don’t miss out on the tasty event!
After a recent assessment by Qualmark we are pleased to advise that we have again achieved the Four Star Plus level from our national accommodation quality system. We are sure that the policy we have to constantly improve our property by making changes and regularly replacing chattels really assists us to remain at a high level of achievement.
We are strong supporters of Qualmark and are pleased more sections of the tourism industry are using their assessment system and that our Qualmark systems are being more recognised by our overseas visitors.
